The short version: Your media stays on your device. We don't store it, we can't see it, and we don't sell your data.

Our Privacy Philosophy

We built Media Looper with privacy as a core principle. Unlike most cloud services, your photos and videos are stored locally on your device — not on our servers.

What We Collect

What We DON'T Collect or Store

Your photos and videos — They pass through our server during transfer (less than a second) and are immediately sent to your device. We don't keep copies.
What you display — We have no visibility into what content is on your screen.
Your location — We don't track where you or your device are.
Analytics or tracking — No cookies, no trackers, no analytics scripts.

How Your Content Flows

When you send a photo or video:

You send it via Telegram to our bot
Our server receives it temporarily (in memory, not saved to disk)
It's immediately forwarded to your device over an encrypted connection
Your device saves it locally
Our server discards it — nothing is retained

Data Security

We protect your data with:

Encrypted connections between all components
Unique authentication for each device
No unnecessary data collection

Third-Party Services

Media Looper uses:

Telegram — For the control interface. Telegram has its own privacy policy.

We don't use any advertising networks, analytics services, or data brokers.

Your Rights

You can:

Delete your content — Remove any file through the Telegram interface
Unlink your device — Removes the connection between your Telegram and the device
Factory reset — Wipes all data from the device
Request data deletion — Email us to remove your account from our system

Data Retention

Your media: Stored only on your device until you delete it
Account data: Kept while your device is linked; deleted on unlink or upon request
Server logs: Minimal logs kept for troubleshooting, automatically deleted after 30 days

Children's Privacy

Media Looper is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll note the date of any changes at the top of this page.
